Quick post! I went for a walk to the park earlier today with my sister, her bf (total third wheel) and Oreo and decided to bring my camera for the first time even though these walks are a twice weekly routine. Silly me though, forgot to charge my battery so the camera died after a couple minutes. Fail.
Dressed for comfort and of course in black, white and grey.

one of those classic my-eyes-were-closed (!) shots
Dress: Seduce
Faux fur scarf: the accessories section in Myer
Booties: Review

Don't you just hate it when clothes look better in r/l than they do on camera? This dress is just gorgeous but on camera it makes me look somewhat... frumpy. I thought I'd post the outfit anyway, even though I don't like the way it turned out. If you all haven't noticed, I tend to wear a lot more black and white tones than colour, especially in the winter, but I'm working on adding some navy, baby pink, mustard, khaki and crazycute patterns into my outfits. Just to snaz it up a bit.
This dress needs some ironing too.
Love y'all

random purchases.

Officially on a shopping ban, sigh. Guilt after a day of shopping: isn't it just the worst feeling? These are just a couple of the things I bought, either because I couldn't resist, or because as soon as I saw the piece, life would all of a sudden be incomplete if I didn't have it in my wardrobe. What's the use of having a wishlist when I'm an impulsive buyer? Le sigh. My wishlist extends to about 2 A4 pages long whereas my 'random junk I bought' list would be enough to fill one of my A3 art folders. No, really. If only I could resist, maybe all those things on my wishlist would belong to me. Oh, if only *cue melodramatic music*. Life would be so perfect. Just for a moment, though, until I find something else to add to the list. Gah, can anyone say material girl?
I've wanted patent oxfords for forever now, and at AU$18, not too bad right?
The sister persuaded me to get grey oxfords because.."you have too many brown/tan pairs of shoes!" and as soon as the order was put through, I regretted it. I'm just not a grey oxfords kinda person...but..when these babies arrived, I saw that they were the perfect mix of a somewhat rusted/faded grey brown and not the grey I was imagining. Alas, I fell in love. Oh Steve Madden, you always know how to please a girl.
I'm so late on this moustache trend but this ring was so cute! $3, couldn't resist!
My armour ring obsession. This trend is definitely overdone but these rings are too cute to pass up.
Still loving snakes!
Patent oxfords from Miss Me via; wingtip oxfords from Steve Madden also via; moustache ring, armour ring, snake ring, 'key' ring, all from Diva; pillows (because a girl can never have enough pillows..?)
I bought a bunch of other stuff, i.e clothes but I can't photograph them well, so they'll feature in my blog posts later on.

cape & tutu.

I've had this cape for about a year now, and I've never worn it out. Now that I have, I don't think I'll ever stop! It's got a hood too, and t'was only $10, yay for bargains!

Cape: Valleygirl
Tutu skirt: Asos (it rides so high up i'm so self conscious I might flash someone o__o)
Dress worn as top: Kuku
Boots: Rubi
Rant!..You can ignoreeee.
No motivation left. Feeling like I have permanent bags under my eyes from all this year 12 stress. Even when it's the holidays. But sleep deprivation only forms a part of the symptoms. Trying to get my art major done but at the same time daydreaming about how perfect life would be if I could just be out of school and onto work already. I know it's not perfect, but at least I'd have a job, right? Sitting on my butt and eating way too much has now caused my mum to say my face is so (excuse the poor spelling of..) chubbehhh it can be used as a basketball substitute. I know it's bad, I'll get on track soon, I sincerely hope.

Wanting to renovate my room, DIY some studded shorts (in the middle of winter, cos I'm a cool kid) and elbow patch sweaters, eat dessert for brekkie, lunch and dinner, and do everything I can to avoid my art, chemistry, biology holiday homework. Hating on the workload. This is bad, really bad. I'm in stress city, folks. Anyone ever feel this way?
I like this outfit though. :)

Ps. I suck at this blogging thing.

its the eleventh hour.

A new Aussie label I'm in love with- The Eleventh Hour. I realise my style inspiration folder seems to be splattered with black, white and nude - neutral colours. My outfits, on the other hand, are nothing like this! Oh well, I'm still inspired.
Simply (quite literally) covetable.

rings and other things.

This is an "updated" jewellery collection. Actually, no not really. It's just a couple of rings I'm sure you guys have seen in previous posts. And other photos of random things. I haven't been able to take outfit photos, mostly because my photographer (my sister!) is such a busy bee, working and studying all the time. As am I, that is, if by studying, we all mean procrastinating. I have beyond mastered this tragic art.

What's on my desk right now, an '@' and an '&' block, just because I thought they were cute, Audrey Hepburn calendar (she's so beautiful!) because I was too lazy to hang it up; how I store my rings now, on a metal tree frame thing my friend bought me from Typo! Holla if you love this store; ringsringsrings; the bird ring is my favourite, it's a bird. Perched on my finger.; necklace my boyfriend bought me off Etsy; nail polish obsession (latest buy).
I'll be back soon I hope! I say that everytime.
